RG58/U Cable (50 meters)
RG58/U is a thin very flexible low loss coaxial RF cable with a thickness of 4.95 mm. It is double shielded and suitable for most applications: Wi-Fi and mobile antennas, CB radios, SWR meters, etc. The conductor is insulated with a polyethylene dielectric.
RG58/U Cable Main Features
The main difference between the regular RG58 cable and our low loss RG58/U cable is the significant reduction in loss of the RF signal. When using cheap RG-58 cables, the unwanted attenuation is already noticeable at shorter distances. With the RG58/U, the cable length can be up to 15-20 meters while the end device (repeater, router, or cellular modem) still receives sufficient signal strength from your antenna.
Our cable supports a variety of RF connectors (N, SMA, TNC, FME, UHF and others). The impedance of 50 ohms guarantees compatibility with radio equipment.
The cable conductor is made of pure copper. The dielectric made of polyethylene foam provides good flexibility of the cable. The outer jacket is made of PVC. The cable can be used both inside buildings and outdoors.
