HF240 Cable
A high-quality HF240 (LMR-240) cable (Ø6.1 mm) is widely used in cellular amplification systems as well as for switching various RF devices operating at frequencies up to 6 GHz. This cable version has a center conductor made of Pure Copper.
HF240 Cable Main Features
The main difference between the HF240 cable and the cheap RG58 series is the significant reduction in loss of the RF signal. When using cheap RG-58 cables, unwanted attenuation is already noticeable at 10-15 meters of cable length. With the HF240 cable, the cable length can be up to 20-25 meters while the end device (repeater, router, or cellular modem) still receives sufficient signal strength.
The main advantage of the HF240 cable is its very low signal attenuation. Compared to the RG58 cable, the HF240 has 2 times lower signal attenuation.
Our coaxial cable supports a wide variety of RF connectors (N, SMA, TNC, FME, and others). 50 Ohm impedance guarantees compatibility with cellular radio equipment.
The conductor of the cable is made of Pure Copper. Good flexibility of the cable is ensured by a foamed polyethylene dielectric. The outer jacket is made of PE (polyethylene ) and can be used both inside buildings and outdoors.
